Personal Care Aide
Personal Aides assist Care Recipients or their family members with personal care. That might be bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene or oral care. These activities might be difficult for the injured or elderly to do by themselves if weak or in pain.
Certification in a recognized Care Attendant program required.
ASL Interpreter / Intervenor
Professionally trained our Interpreters will participate in similar duties as a Companion Aide to persons that are Deaf, Deafened or Hard of Hearing. Intervenors are also professionally trained, but will provide auditory and visual information to persons that are Deafblind.
Companion Aide
Companions promote general wellness. They alleviate loneliness through positive social interaction. That might be playing board games, reading the newspaper or even attending outside social events with Care Recipients.
Companions can run errands, collect prescriptions or groceries, take Care Recipients to their Health Professional appointments. Need extra pampering? Companions can take you or your loved one to the Spa or Beauty Salon. They provide a friendly ear, someone to talk with and exchange ideas.
Home Maker
Home Makers assist our Clients with light house chores. That might be vacuuming, cleaning, laundry or organizing the closet and changing of bed linens.
Home Makers are valuable team members and are not trained or certified. Busy Clients or new parents can benefit from this solution. Seniors or those that need to rest due to injury can also benefit from this level of support.

A minimum of one year recent related experience working in a Hospital, Nursing Home or as a Community Health Care worker is desired.
To Join Our Team We Require:
- No criminal record or convictions.
- Graduation from a recognized RCA Program.
- Negative TB Test results and CPR Certificate.
- FoodSafe Certificate, where relevant.
- A valid Class 5 BC Drivers license.
- Reliable car and appropriate insurance.
- Good driving record.
- Reliability and dependability.
- A caring and positive approach.
- Dedication to Clients needs.
- Good references.
